We believe this might be a Yeti BUG, which needs to be fixed. We have tried playing with various parameters (like clumping influence, interpolation radius etc.) but it doesn't seem to fix the issue. the strands interpolate smoothly & stay flat & aligned as per the eyelash growth-mesh & associated Maya-guide-curves shape/direction.īut when this Groom setup(Maya-guide-curves) is converted to 'Yeti Groom Guides ‘the Yeti strands interpolation behavior changes, and it give somehow undesirable results, wherein the stands interpolation no longer stays aligned & flat, they appear puffy & bushy, So it breaks the aesthetic 'LOOK-Dev' which has been set for the eyelashes groom. As explained in the Image, notice that when the Yeti eyelash groom/strands are driven directly using base 'Maya-Guide-Curves', the strands interpolation works fine & gives desirable/expected results, i.e.

Please find attached 'Yeti Groom Interpolation Issue/Bug' which we found/discovered while testing on thin eyelash scalp geomentry.
